Basketball and God

Macailyn Maciel-Melendez

Are you worrying about being focused? Just read this!

Well, I’m worrying about my basketball skills and that has everything to do with staying focused. I know that good sportsmanship is a good thing to have with basketball or any sport you play. Just like you should always focus on the ball, you should always keep your eye on God!

Do you have anything that you are having trouble with? That’s why I’m telling you about how I’m having a little trouble with basketball. My temper rises pretty fast if I don’t win my basketball game. I know if I didn’t win it was because I wasn’t focusing on the ball.

So if your temper rises pretty fast or if you’re worrying about school or trouble at home, just be like me and basketball. Stay focused, not on the ball but on God. Learn what God says about what you’re worried about. It really helps. Just like they say “practice makes prefect”.

Anything you’re having trouble with, keep your eye on God. Focus on Him! Remember that!
