Bunnies Don't Lay Eggs
Did you know that the Easter Bunny is not what Easter is all about?
Did you ever see a bunny lay eggs? I sure hope not! Then, why do you suppose that the Easter Bunny and Easter Eggs seem to go together? Someone wants us to think that bunnies lay colored eggs. But, a bunny is nothing more than a warm, fuzzy, cuddly animal that most kids think is cute. There is nothing special about a bunny at Easter time.
But, let me tell you what IS special about Easter time. Jesus was crucified to save us from our sins. So, forget about Easter bunnies, egg hunts, candy, and new clothes!
Jesus is my Savior and He is yours, too, if you ask Him into your heart. It’s really easy. Just ask God to forgive you for all your sins and Jesus will be your Savior, too.
Jesus is different than any other god. He is not dead. He is alive. He was crucified and died on the cross. But three days later, He rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven where He is making a special place for us to live with Him forever. When we are with Him in heaven, we will never be sick or sad or hurt anymore. We will be full of joy and happiness for eternity.
If you pray to Jesus He will give you eternal life. Why not ask Him today and make this Easter the best Easter you’ve ever had!
Jesus is awesome! And, if you believe in Him, you will have an awesome life following Jesus as He leads you and teaches you how to be His disciple.

So think about that and forget about all the presents you used to think the Easter Bunny brought you. Don’t think about the Easter Bunny bringing you presents and good stuff because God gave us the best stuff when He gave us Jesus.
